LINDSEY'S OF WEBSTER PARISH, LOUISIANA:
This Webster Parish, Louisiana Military family descends from DAVID LINDSEY (b. 1745-1750).  
DAVID LINDSEY was a REVOLUTIONARY WAR SOLDIER  (Recorded #A070572).  The David Lindsay(Lindsey) Chapter of the DAR Montevallo, Alabama was formed in 1927 and named for this David Lindsey who is buried at Elliottsville, Shelby County, Alabama.  Today, James Marlon Lindsey, a current Webster Parish land owner of his family's held property now for about 100 years, is "Generation 6" from David Lindsey with registration of the SAR #189270 (Sons of the American Revolutionary War Soldiers).   

From David was (b. 1777-1789) JOHN LINDSEY  who married Melinda Pedergrass.  

From John was a son (born 1833)  JAMES SPENCER LINDSEY in Talladega Alabama.  
JAMES SPENCER LINDSEY WAS A CIVIL WAR SOLDIER.  He served in unit no 623; James and his brother, ELIJAH LINDSEY signed up together and remained together for the entire war, even at Point Lookout as Prisoners.   James married Nicey Bowman.  James moved to Leton, Webster Parish Louisiana.  

From James was a son  (b. 1868) JOHN ANDERSON LINDSEY who married Eulala Taylor in Talladega, Alabama.  They  moved about 1907 with children to Shongaloo, Webster Parish Louisiana.  

From John Anderson was a son  (b.1894) ARTHUR TAYLOR LINDSEY.  
ARTHUR TAYLOR LINDSEY (draft card #17-3-37 Webster)  WAS A WWI SOLDIER.  He served in France from August 1918 until May 1919 and was @ Argonne Forest.  He is buried at Shongaloo Cemetery, Webster Parish, LA. 

From Arthur Taylor Lindsey was a son (b. 1923 in Webster Parish, LA), MORRIS LINDSEY.   
MORRIS LINDSEY WAS A WWII SOLDIER.  He served at the Nuremberg Trials.  (Draft card 374- Order 12572) 
From Arthur Taylor Lindsey was a 2nd son  (b. 1929 in Webster Parish, LA) MARVIN LINDSEY.  
MARVIN LINDSEY WAS A COL.
