Caney Creek Cemetery is on private land in Rocky Mount, Bossier Parish, Louisiana,
just off Seven Pines Road.
There are few signs to indicate where the cemetery is located. It is a shame
that the final resting place of our ancestors is allowed to grow up like this.
The area needs to be cleaned up and an access for a drive from the main road
needs to be provided by the owners of the property plus it needs a sign at the
road alerting others to the location of the cemetery. Elderly people who are not
able to walk the distance from the road to the cemetery, need to be driven to
