George Robert Pierce Sabine Parish, Louisiana

George Robert Pierce, member of the Police Jury from Ward Eight, was born in Copiah County, Mississippi, July 18, 1866, and spent his boyhood there.

He moved with his parents to Sabine parish in 1882, and has always been engaged in farming and has been very successful. Mr. Pierce has always been a strong advocate of organization and co-operation among the farmers as a means of bringing prosperity to them and building up the agricultural interests of the country.

He was elected a member of the Police Jury in 1912 and is in line with the progressive policy of that body; he is a good citizen and a high-class gentleman.
